May 7th and 8th (Friday and Saturday) - Intro to Team Cattle Penning clinic at the home of Luke Weaver, Benton, NB sponsored by the NB/PEI Barrel Horse Association. Open to all horses, English & Western both. Lots of slow work. Barrel and Pole practice in the evenings for those interested. June 12th & 13th - NB/PEI Barrel Racing Jackpot hosted by ETSA at Connell Park, Woodstock. Start times 1 pm Saturday and 11 am Sunday. Divisions for small fry, youth and Open 3D ( 3divisions paid in one class). Pre –entry required. July 5th – 9th – week long clinic at Valley Horse & Saddle Club Grounds, Bairdsville, NB. Featuring 3 instructors this year – Melissa Deilney and Jourdan MacNeil, from Cape Breton, and Pat Kelly, Level 1 English coach from Woodstock. August 14th & 15th - two day Hunter/Jumper show at Oldfield Farm, Woodstock, Gold Equine Canada show offering all EC sanctioned hunter divisions, plus jumpers from .90m to either 1.10m to 1.20m, a pony and a combined horse hunter classic, equitations and medal.
